Custom Blends

I spent some time @ Double Oak Farm today to re-label the tea tins and to meet some customers in person.
It's always nice when one can talk about their work :)

I had a request for Migrain Relief  and Digestive Support Blends... I have a Herbal Tea for easy Digestion ready, but so far I did not take the time to take photos to be able to list it on my Etsy Shop... Need to work on that!

New Labels for my Tea Tins @ Double Oak Farm

For quite a while I had the plan to design new labels for my Organic Herbal Tea Tins which are sold at Double Oak Farm (here in Columbus, Indiana). Well, finally, here is one of them...

Let me know what you think! :)

Valentine's Day Tea #2

For all who need a little pick-me-up in the morning (or any other time of the day, that is), here you go:

Rise & Shine or Good Morning Tea
Organic and Herbal, so no caffeine. I can't decide on the name though, maybe one or two of you who read this might vote?!

This tisane contains:
Organic Lemongrass
Organic Green Rooibos
Organic Nettle Leaves
Organic Rose Petals

Concerning the flavor, it's approved by my hubby. So even if you're not into herbal tea (yet) this is assurance that it's a good tasting blend. It's mild, somewhat sweet (naturally) and has a citrus-y note. You'll feel refreshed and ready to take on the day (or whatever needs to be tackled ;)).

Because of the Green Rooibos (which is the unfermented Red Rooibos) this blend will brew into an awesome orange-amber tea. Just beautiful! And on top of that, Green Rooibos is much higher in anti-oxidants, trace minerals and nutrients than traditional Red Rooibos.

I'm always thankful for your feedback or custom requests: Proportions are adjustable and ingredients can be exchanged.

Thanks for reading, stay warm, drink tea :)

Valentine's Day Blends are in the making

The first one will be a Honeybush blend. It's a naturally sweet, very fragrant tea. To make it Valentine's Day worthy I add Rose Petals and Calendula Flowers. It looks so pretty (I think :)). It makes a nice amber brew which doesn't need any sweetener. But again, that's what my taste buds say. A little honey or agave nectar can't hurt either.
